What is Tarot?

The Tarot consists of 78 cards, divided into two main sections: the Major Arcana (22 cards) and the Minor Arcana (56 cards). For thousands of years, Tarot has been one of the most widely used mystical tools for self-development. It’s frequently used alongside alchemy, astrology, psychology, numerology, Kabbalah, philosophy, and various other esoteric traditions. Many consider it to be a mirror of the human soul.

A Profound Meaning

Each Tarot card features an image, a name, and a number. Together, these elements form a symbol with a specific meaning. You could say that Tarot communicates in a universal language through archetypal symbols (similar to how the zodiac sign Leo represents the archetypal symbol of strength). By understanding and interpreting these symbols, you can identify their corresponding qualities in your own life and harness them positively.

Tarot cards possess profound meanings with multiple layers and levels. Through them, we can access the hidden depths within ourselves—aspects we might unconsciously try to deny, suppress, or release. This universal language makes Tarot particularly effective for self-understanding and future decision-making.

Not Strange, Just Magical

We often seek advice before making decisions or confirmation of our doubts and beliefs. A Tarot reading can provide these insights—whether about the day ahead or a budding romantic relationship. The Tarot cards themselves aren’t inherently magical; they’re simply ink on paper. There’s nothing strange or sinister about them.

What is magical, however, is how Tarot cards can connect you with a deeper part of yourself—the part that recognizes no limitations, believes in abundance, and knows that everything you desire is possible. This is where hidden desires, actions, and goals reside. Tarot helps develop self-awareness, enabling you to make conscious choices, gain insight into specific situations, or transition to new life phases.

Tarot’s purpose is to guide you, strengthen your trust in intuition, and help you discover what you truly want in life.

Tarot reveals the energies surrounding you while providing insight into your inner self. It opens your mind to possibilities and facilitates self-discovery.

Tarot Is Not Dark

Historically, the Church was wary of anything resembling the occult. Because people struggled to understand Tarot’s powers, it became associated with dark and occult practices. This association has led to continued skepticism among many people. However, Tarot operates independently of any faith or belief system and is neither scary nor malevolent—unless the reader chooses to interpret it that way. It’s simply a tool that allows access to inner wisdom and hidden knowledge. Tarot reveals what “is” and evolves with you.

Tarot reflects who we are at the precise moment we choose to look into its mirror.
